What's the Difference?

Gage R&R was initially developed at General Motors in the 1960's. In 1989 it was turned over to the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) for further development. This is a time‐tested method for qualifying your measurement systems.

Donald Wheeler began developing the EMP process in the 1980's. EMP helps you learn more from your Measurement System Analysis (MSA) data with less effort. The EMP approach uses graphs to show interesting aspects of your data, guiding you to the important conclusions.
